Hi, I’m Kaede. When I first came to Tokyo ARK, I was in pretty bad shape. I stayed in the hospital for about a week and took some medicine, and now I am totally healthy! At the moment, I’m staying in a foster home with two Jack Russell Terriers. They seem like they’d really like to play with me, but I still find them a little scary, so I sometimes lose my temper. But I think I could go to a house with dogs if I were given time to make friends with them.

TOHOKU-PACIFIC QUAKE ANIMALS

Our priority now is on housing the remaining 16 dogs from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, many of whom have owners, but who are unable to take them back. The area (land) where the Earthquake dogs are now housed, has been rented for many years but now due to changing circumstances of the owners, is due to be returned to them. That means there is some urgency in building new kennels for them in Sasayama. Your continuing support is appreciated.
