ARK held a photo exhibition named " Thank You, " to celebrate ARK's 20th Anniversary, here at the Gallery 80 in February last year. Many people came; some had not had any interest in animal welfare before, some knew a bit about it but were afraid of seeing the reality and some actually came, having adopted cats and dogs from ARK. We believe that each and every one of those who came, was affected in some way by this exhibition. Building on the impact this exhibition had on people last year, we are extremely lucky to have the opportunity to hold a photo exhibition at the same venue this year 2011. Please join us as ARK steps forward to another 20 years of rescuing homeless animals and in finding them 'forever homes.'
Animal Refuge Kansai
|Our priority now is on housing the remaining 16 dogs from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, many of whom have owners, but who are unable to take them back. The area (land) where the Earthquake dogs are now housed, has been rented for many years but now due to changing circumstances of the owners, is due to be returned to them. That means there is some urgency in building new kennels for them in Sasayama. Your continuing support is appreciated.|
