Phoebe is a friendly girl who likes to meet new people and make new friends. She has a kind face and very looks similar to another dog who was rescued from the same breeder named Karen. They even have the same marks around their face! But Phoebe has her own special character, and is waiting for someone to adopt her. She has been kept in a cage for so many years that proper socialization will be necessary for her.

Rescued from a breeder who went out of business due to the Tohoku earthquake.

Our priority now is on housing the remaining 16 dogs from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, many of whom have owners, but who are unable to take them back. The area (land) where the Earthquake dogs are now housed, has been rented for many years but now due to changing circumstances of the owners, is due to be returned to them. That means there is some urgency in building new kennels for them in Sasayama. Your continuing support is appreciated.
