In some ways I am very Golden Retriever. I love people and I am very friendly. I never pull on a walk. I should be kept indoors but I need to be housebroken. I have tested positive for heartworm but am taking medication. Now, my other side is that I love to hunt cats. I also bit a dog that lived with me. I should be kept as the only dog and in a home with no cats! I really am a very nice girl and I am really looking forward to my new home!

Background:

Two months after the Tohoku earthquake we got a call to rescue two dogs. The owner was unable to keep them at the evacuation center. It had been 2 weeks since the owner had gone back home to check on the dogs. We were glad to find them still alive.

TOHOKU-PACIFIC QUAKE ANIMALS

Our priority now is on housing the remaining 16 dogs from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, many of whom have owners, but who are unable to take them back. The area (land) where the Earthquake dogs are now housed, has been rented for many years but now due to changing circumstances of the owners, is due to be returned to them. That means there is some urgency in building new kennels for them in Sasayama. Your continuing support is appreciated.
