Many people pass by us older dogs. I hope you will keep reading and listen to my story. I was found in Fukushima. No one could find my family. I had a broken cheekbone and my eye needed surgery. I was in a very poor state. I was probably hit by a car and left. Fortunately ARK rescued me and I have recovered. Now I am not only healthy, but I am friendly and very energetic! Yes, an older dog like me is full of life! So why not take this chance to give me a loving home for the rest of my years! I certainly deserve one. I really love people—oh but I don’t like dogs so I need to be the only dog in the family!

He was rescued in the restricted area of Fukushima. Six months have passed and no one has claimed him.

TOHOKU-PACIFIC QUAKE ANIMALS

Our priority now is on housing the remaining 16 dogs from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, many of whom have owners, but who are unable to take them back. The area (land) where the Earthquake dogs are now housed, has been rented for many years but now due to changing circumstances of the owners, is due to be returned to them. That means there is some urgency in building new kennels for them in Sasayama. Your continuing support is appreciated.
