I look quite young for my age! Of all the dogs in my rescue, I am the easiest one to take care of. However, I don’t like the vet! The ARK staff had to stay with me until the anesthesia worked! When I was spayed I had a breast tumor removed. Now having said all that, let me tell you how much I love people! I really do. Unless of course you are a vet! I am an older dog that came from really horrible conditions. It would be so nice to have a loving home for the rest of my doggy years!

Background:

The owner had 7 Shih Tzus but developed dementia and was hospitalized. The dogs were not well cared for, as a result.

TOHOKU-PACIFIC QUAKE ANIMALS

Our priority now is on housing the remaining 16 dogs from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, many of whom have owners, but who are unable to take them back. The area (land) where the Earthquake dogs are now housed, has been rented for many years but now due to changing circumstances of the owners, is due to be returned to them. That means there is some urgency in building new kennels for them in Sasayama. Your continuing support is appreciated.
