It looks like I am winking at you. Well, I will always wink at you because I don’t have a right eye! I came from really horrible conditions. My eye was really bad so it had to be removed. However, don’t worry, it doesn’t slow me down! I still love to go for walks and to play with toys. I get along with most dogs. I say “most” because I don’t really like big dogs. I am 8 years old but, as I said, those 8 years were not in good conditions. I really hope I can get a loving home for the next 8 years or more! I really deserve a good life!

The owner had 7 Shih Tzus but was hospitalized due to dementia.

TOHOKU-PACIFIC QUAKE ANIMALS

Our priority now is on housing the remaining 16 dogs from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, many of whom have owners, but who are unable to take them back. The area (land) where the Earthquake dogs are now housed, has been rented for many years but now due to changing circumstances of the owners, is due to be returned to them. That means there is some urgency in building new kennels for them in Sasayama. Your continuing support is appreciated.
